Dear MBST family.
Now, we are in an unexpected situation, which keeps us from studying at school. We cannot even go to church to worship because of COVID-19.
All MBST staff are doing our best to help you continue your studies. We are committed to helping students continue their studies.
I understand that using Google Classroom and other online platforms to conduct classes is not an easy task for both students and professors.
But now is the time to be patient and pray to Almighty God for this situation to end quickly. We cannot have our Spiritual and Discipleship Training like this.
But on the other side, this situation is a good period of training for us.
If you are used to attend a pastor-centered worship in the church, and just watched worship which is a pastor led until now, it is the time to train yourselves as worshipers who stand before God by yourselves wherever you are.
The place where you are will be a place of worship.
Also, please do not neglect your spiritual training for yourself.
I hope you will have a deeper relationship with God more than you did in MBST.
Let us pray that this period of confusion will end quickly and protect all people from coronavirus. We pray especially for al front-liners led by the government and medical staff.
Remember 1 Corinthians 10:13,
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted* beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” God will give us strength to overcome this difficulty.
I want you to be safe and be healthy, and I want the peace that Jesus gives will be with you even in the midst of trouble.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
